The 650t/d float second line of China Glass Blue Star (Linyi) completed the online horizontal cutting of the tank wall.

The cold repair project of the 650t/d float second line of China Glass Lanxing (Linyi) has completed the demolition of the kiln and partial repair of related projects since it started on April 24, 2016. Horizontal cutting is the only project of the pool wall in this cold repair project. Because the tank wall is the key part of direct contact with molten glass, it directly affects the service life of the furnace.

Therefore, the horizontal cutting project is the key work of this cold repair project. On the basis of summing up the experience of horizontal cutting in the first line, the company has further carefully organized the improvement of equipment and the allocations of construction personnel, and appointed special personnel to be responsible for the construction implementation. After 11 days of careful construction, the bottom wall of No.1 ~ No.8 small furnaces was cut horizontally, which was completed on June 5, 2016. The quality of horizontal cutting meets the requirements of construction quality after the on-site surveying and mapping acceptance by the supervision of China Glass Bluestar (Linyi).
